To use the Happy Farmer Kitchen Composter:
- Simply cut food into small pieces and place into the Happy Farmer Kitchen Composter.
- In a kitchen compost bucket, apply Happy Farmer Bokashi directly on top of kitchen food waste and close the lid.
- It is very important to cover the entire surface of food waste with Bokashi. When added, Bokashi will begin a fermentation process that will neutralize odors, increase the mineral content, and prepare food waste to become high quality compost.
- Repeat the process, until the bucket is full.
- When the composter is full, let it sit, unopened, for two weeks and ferment.
- Then mix the fermented food waste with soil and let it compost for another two weeks.
- In just one month you will have a nutritious plant food that is also rich in beneficial microorganisms.
