    Very difficult to reel a 100 ft hose. The part that connects to the garden hose was plastic..should have been metal. I have a bad feeling that it will leak after some time.

      Ordered two[...]These reels are great I'm replacing one that is 15 years old on the west side exposure of the house. After all that time, the UV rays have started to make a negative impact - so time to replace!

            I don't know how I lived without one of these -- we have two. Easy to install and use. One part broke, but was inexpensive and easy to replace (I bought two extras, just in case). A great way to solve the tiresome problem of coiling hoses. And the price is right. It doesn't work well with a really long hose, though.

            Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            Q2: Can this be mounted on a post?

            A: Yes, as long the entire reel is supported on the post. The reel dimensions are 15 34" W x 11.5" Deep x 15 3/4 " H.

            Q3: What is the exact distance (center to center) between any two holes veritcally or diagonially on the mounting hub?

            A: The distance between any two holes, center to center, is 5 and 7/8 of an inch.
