Comments about Frame - It - All Frame-It-All 8 x 8 Resin Raised Garden Bed:

We are new to gardening. A raised bed was exactly what we wanted. The product arrived well packaged and opening the boxes it was clear this was a quality item.

Step one was to decide how to lay out the shape. We ended up doing a really cool shape out of the natural landscape of our backyard. Sort of a diamond shape with a small square sticking out of one side. We made the main diamond shape two levels high, and the small square only 1 level high. It gave it a great look. We spend quite a bit of time playing with different ideas until we found a perfect layout for it.

The area we built this was fairly level to begin with, so we simply used a garden rake to level out the dirt around the area. Starting with the bottom row, we leveled out each piece. After the leveling, the rest was as easy as lincoln logs.

Couple of tips: Dont pound in the stakes all the way into the ground at first. Leave them sticking up. As you put together each piece, as you come to connecting the entire thing, we had to shimmy a couple of them around to line up correctly. This was easy. Another tip: Dont screw the boards into the brackets until you are totaly finished.

One last tip: Don't leave the boards out in direct sunlight while your doing this. I had a couple get really hot, then bent a bit - however this was no big deal at all cause it easily went back into shape with a slight pull. But for the next person, leaving them in the shade is a better idea.

After we got it all done, the next step was calling for 2 yards of dirt. It got dropped off in the driveway and we had to wheel barrel it one load at a time down to the new garden. That was a lot of work.

The entire project, including dirt, planting and mulching took the entire afternoon. Most of the time was spent on deciding the layout, and moving dirt. It was a full day project.

The end result is great. We love it. We added some solar lights to it and the final look was exactly what we wanted.

It is very clear this product is high quality and it will last. We looked at some local options and it all looked like it would rot away easily. Not this stuff, this stuff is built to last.
