I've been searching for a large volume, metal watering can that will look nice sitting out, and last for years. This is very hard to find! This can is very sleek, perfect size for my large potted plants, and clearly durable. The only con is the weight. Once filled with water it is a bit hefty and I wouldn't recommend it for the feeble gardener.

I bought the largest watering can, which holds about 1.5 gallons of water. It is the only one with a removable filter which attaches to a round spout opening. The smaller versions feature an angled spout opening and no filter. I got this watering can because I fell in love with its aesthetics and it had the large capacity I desired. However, after the first use, I realized this watering can was not as functional as it was beautiful. Water does not gently sprinkle out of the filter, but rather spills out in heavy globs--everywhere. The reason is because the filter contains large holes and is not properly angled such that water evenly flows from each hole. I expected something this expensive to at least work correctly. Sadly, this is not the case. Before buying a watering can, do a google search for "best watering can" and try to find something that is both practical and aesthetically pleasing.
