The Fir Wood Folding Potting Bench is constructed of weather-resistant fir so it'll handle the weather beautifully. However, that's not too much of an issue considering this potting bench folds up for easy storage. That means you can tuck it away in the garage for the winter, extending its life.


This may be a smaller bench, but it's full of storage. There's a towel bar on top for supporting hanging baskets, and the lattice back can be used for dozes of tools on hooks. A generous, slatted work surface makes your work easy, and a full-size storage shelf below will store bags of soil, pots, watering cans and more.

This actually has 2 functions. I needed a work bench to put all my flower pots, potting soil and garden tools. It really works great. I get everything off the deck and in it's place on the bench. The second thing that this is very useful for is to hide the furnace & hot water heater exhaust pipes coming out on the back deck. I put the work bench right in front of them and the pipes go between the upper and lower shelves, hiding those big ugly pipes. And I now have someplace to work on my plants instead of on my glass tables on the deck.

    I really like the the potting bench especially since it was a birthday gift to me from my daughter and son-in-law. It is very attractive and I use it mainly to hang gardening tools and for potting small plants. Two Winters ago I left it on my back porch and was not able to determine how weather proofed it might be. This past Winter I have left it sitting underneath the eave of my house (more exposed) and I believe that it has withstood the cold season beautifully.

          I bought the potting bench for just that, potting plants. I did not place the bench where I originally planned because it looks better than I expected. I placed the bench in the main patio area and plan on using it for potting plants and as a buffet for entertaining. It took a little longer than described to put it together, but it was not difficult.
