We assembled the potting bench in less than an hour. Definitely a two person job, especially at the beginning. We feel that it is a good value for the price, but the quality of the wood doesn't portend a long life. In our case, the bench is in a protected area (an alcove in a narrow alley-way between our home and the one next door), so we hope it will last a long time.

In Genenral this is a decent product at a reasonable price.
Assembly was complicated by dowel holes being out of location and 2 braces that needed some material shaved off to fit in the mating part.Biggest problem was the lattice/grate panel being off by 1/2".
Managed to make it fit by enlarging the holes. Does not fit tightly.
I bought the 'natural finish model- they really skimped on the stain.
The panel that goes in the bottom where it is out of sight looks like it was pieced together from several scraps.
If you will be using it outide, definitly add a coat of stain or sealer.
Also pre-drill the holes to avoid splitting boards.
Would recomend it with reservations, just don't expect too much.
The one I got was not a 15 minute with one screwdriver assembly job...and I'm a mechanic.
Without the fit issues I would give it 4 stars

This seems to be just what I was looking for in a potting bench. The only issue I had were the instructions; not bad but not really clear either, and one top shelf bracket was broken, but was able to Elmer's glue it back together and it worked fine. Now I am waiting for the rain to stop so I can set it up where I want it to be.

Very pretty but not what I expected. It was made out of pine so it is very light and not very sturdy.
