Comments about Cedar Creek Cedar Wood Raised Planter Box:
Treat this as a ready to assemble, wood shop/jigsaw puzzle! It arrived in a box, well sealed, and all the pieces were there, it just needs to be assembled. There is a letter sized sheet of instructions in the box that you can fold into a paper airplane and throw away!! What should have took under 30mins to put together took well over an hour and lots of cursing because the instructions are so bad. I had to saw down some of the bottom corner slats to make them fit which destroyed the manufacturers "all you need is a phillips screw driver" statement in the instructions!
Once put together, the product was exactly what I wanted and my wife likes it. It looks nice in it's natural cedar color or you can stain it, which is what I will do. My wife has a nice herb bed now to go with our raised veg garden. Good product if you have patients putting it together, hence the 3 stars.
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery was quick and package was well sealed.

Comments about Cedar Creek Cedar Wood Raised Planter Box:
The product is relatively easy to put together... ONCE you figure out the pretty sparse instructions. Other than that... no problem!

Comments about Cedar Creek Cedar Wood Raised Planter Box:
I found it a little difficult to assemble, impossible by myself. With help it was ackward. Your instructions call for the legs to be attached with it upright, but that won't work we had it upside down and nailed the legs in place until we could screw them in.
I did quite a bit of research before I bought this from you. It is by far the least expensive, and the most appropriate for my needs: due to recent knee surgery I cannot kneel.
I have recommended it to neighbors, family and friends! Cannot wait for my first vegetables to come in!

Q1: Are there drain holes in the bottom of this planter
A: The bottom of this planter is made of slats with a felt liner inside. The flet liner allows excess water to drain properly.
